Re-Use that Tissue Garland Banner for your Kid’s Room

Hi Guys! So, I think most of you now that I went to the ALT Summit this past January. And while I was there, I was hanging out with the fabulous ladies of Shop Sweet Lulu. They hosted the most amazing party for our last evening there and I had the fortune of taking home some of their left over goodies (Thank you guys!)  So, when Stevie offered me some of the cute Tissue Garland Tassels they made, I said, “Heck yes, I will take them”! Little did I realize I didn’t have that much room in my own suitcase, but I made it work. I just knew I wanted this tassel garland in Amelia’s new bedroom, because she kept saying, “Mommy I want a pink and blue bedroom”.  It doesn’t get any more clear than that! ha! So, with some squishing and folding in to my suitcase, Portland bound they were!

I strung each tissue with my black and white bakers twine. I then used both duck tape and washi tape to hang on her wall. Here is how it turned out:

Oh and that Car Print is from the Oh Joy for Nod Collection, isn’t it super cute?! And the pink clamp light is from IKEA and the Stegosaurus  Dinosaur Pillow is also from Land of Nod. There you have it guys! Here is one side of Amelia’s room and I promise there will be more to show here in the next couple of weeks!
