Chicken and Broccoli Crock Pot Recipe

Chicken and Broccoli Crock Pot Style!

Can I just tell you how much I love my Crock? Just in case you didn’t know, I am sort of obsessed with my Crock Pot! The stainless steal look with its black curves.. oh my!!

OK, back to the point, so, it was a week day, I just had a Mommy and Milly day and I didn’t really feel like cooking. While my daughter was napping, I went on a pintrest hunt for some slow cooker ideas. I wanted to use up some veggies and chicken we had in the fridge from earlier in the week. I scoured my cabinets and found a beef and broccoli packet and decided that was going to be my “secret” ingredient. Who needs Chinese take out when you have the crock?

What you will need:

Chicken Breast
Beef and Broccoli Packet
Sugar Snap Peas
Red Peppers
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
3/4 cup water
A few pours of Trader Joe’s Gyoza Sauce
(If you want to go crazy, add some peanut butter)

Easy Crock Time:

Throw in all of your ingredients and set on Low. Cook for 3-4 hours and let the Crock do its magic! Serve with Rice, Quinoa or Cous Cous and you are all set! This is such an easy weeknight meal. Yumm!

The beginning:

Here it is simmering in the crock:

A shot of dinner just before I devoured it!

The Crock Pot is perfect for a weeknight meal and I try to do an easy-peasy dish at least once a week! I will be sure to post more Crock Pot ideas featured in the Tasty Tuesday section for your reading and cooking pleasure! Happy Tasty Tuesday to you!
